Hoy para recuperar unas cuantas neuronas, tenemos la presentación telonenando a The Gathering de unos grandiosos exponentes del rock progresista como ellos se definen cuyos integrantes destacan por su gran calidad musical y la voz tan especial de Cinthia Santibáñez que no deja indiferente a nadie, esta banda nació el año 1997 y han editado el EP Contacto en 1998, el single Ameba en 1999, el disco Crisálida en 2006 y finalmente en 2008 Raco. Uno de sus logros como banda además de recorrer el país y ser reconocida como banda revelación en Radio Futuro, Crisálida es escogida como banda soporte para abrir el show THE GATHERING en Chile en marzo del 2007. Disfruten de esta gran banda y tomen harto líquido, Viva Chile, Viva el Rock!

Blackout - Puedo ver (2007) 12:42:00

Septiembre, mes de nuestra querida patria y por lo tanto tiempo de hacer honor a nuestras bandas y su excelente desempeño en nuestra escena nacional. Abro este patriota tributo con una banda que si bien lleva poco tiempo en las tablas, cuenta con una calidad de interpretacion de primer nivel. Si, se trata de los muchachos de Blackout, formacion liderada por Pablo Stipicic en voz y guitarra ritmica, quien aparecio en el Ibanez Army interpretando un temaso de su autoria. Ademas en sus filas se encuentra el talentoso Fabian Aravalés quien tambien aparecio en este compilado galatico con nada menos que el virtuoso Benjamin Lechuga, actual Delta. "Puedo Ver" es un corte extraido del album del 2007 que lleva el mismo nombre, lleno de aplastantes riffs y melodias sin igual, sin duda un orgullo para nuestra escena que cada vez parece tomar mas fuerza y calidad. Mar De Robles - Chúcaro (en vivo 2007) 0:01:00

Hoy tenemos algo chileno y muy bueno por lo demás, estos artistas oriundos de Rancagua desarrollan un rock progresivo de alta factura, ellos se autodefinen como Etno-progrock y su sonido recuerda bastante a Congreso y King Crimson mas esto no significa que no creen música original ya que su inspiración proviene de su propia realidad. Tienen a su haber ya 2 LP, MdR de 2003 e Indígena de 2007. Este video fue grabado en su presentación en el Baja Prog en Mexicali, México, donde aprovecharon de lanzar internacionalmente su segundo larga duración. Es realmente un viaje escuchar un disco de estos compadres y personalmente lo disfruto mucho, se los recomiendo 100%. Disfruten del Rock!

Therion - Blood Of Kingu (en vivo 2007 Miskolc Experience) 9:29:00

Recientemente pude obtener ;) el nuevo DVD de estos suecos Miskolc Experience lanzado este año pero grabado cuando aun contaban con Mats Leven, es realmente espectacular y una vez más ejecutan la fusión entre metal, ópera y orquesta de manera perfecta. Como extra les dejo algo de Verdi por Therion, realmente imperdible. Disfruten del rock!

Ya había posteado esta gran banda chilena pero me dieron ganas de hacerles publicidad, así que disfruten de esta presentación en el aniversario número 18 de la radio Futuro el año 2007, la grabación no es la gran cosa pero de todas maneras, disfruten.

Symphony X es una banda estadounidense formada en 1994. Su estilo se mueve principalmente por el metal progresivo y el power metal además de un toque de neoclásico, logrando una fusión única y propia. El video de hoy es uno de los dos creados para promocionar su disco del 2007 "Paradise Lost" y presenta unos buenos efectos digitales y producción (considerando el estigma de las bandas metaleras y sus videos de baja calidad por decir lo menos), sin más, les dejo el video de una de mis bandas actuales favoritas, disfruten el rock!
