Si piensan que esta banda es de los 80s, pues se equivocan, esta agrupación de Los Ángeles, California se dedica a parodiar a las bandas Glam, como Poison, Motley Crue o Ratt. Y de su disco Feel the Steel del 2009, nos traen este tema con un video muy gracioso.
Twister Sister, agrupación made in U.S.A, debe ser el grupo más estrafalario de la escena Glam de los 80s, parecen salidos del “Circo Timoteo” (circo chileno de travestis y transformistas) y llevaron al extremo el maquillaje y el vestuario, pero esto no impidió que el temazo We're Not Gonna Take It sea un éxito, incluido en el disco “Stay Hungri”(1984) . El 2000, el soundtrack de la película “Ready to Rumble” incluye una versión interpretada por “Bif Naked”. Esta la primera vez que la escucho y la veo, demás está decir que está "bastante buena”. El 2006 el grupo Chileno con “sonidos punk”, Los Mox, incluyen un chistoso cover en su dico “Con Cover”, cantándola a su modo, en español. El video también es genial. Es increíble como una buena canción traspasa las fronteras, los estilos musicales y las décadas. Este tema vio la luz el año 1973 en Inglaterra, bajo la factoria de Slade,en su disco "Sladest" grupo cuya puesta en escena era muy estrafalaria, inspirando a grupos como Kiss y fundando el Glam Rock. Diez años más tarde,en Estados Unidos, esta pegajosa canción llevo al estrellato a Quiot Riot, en su disco "Metal Health", fue tanto el éxito que tuvieron llegando al top 5 de la Billboard, siendo el primer tema heavy metal? no pop? en alcanzar esta pocision. Pero Quiot Riot no fueron los únicos en "coverear", también lo hizo Oasis, regresandola al Reino Unido el año 1995, e incluyéndola como cuarto track del single "Don't Look Back in Anger". La agrupación electrónica Bran Van 3000 también hizo lo suyo el año 1997, en el disco Glee, pero, como dije antes, es electrónica asi es que no vamos a mostrar el video,sin embargo,si de todas maneras lo quieres escuchar,pincha aquí,queda bajo tu responsabilidad.
